But for what it's worth, time passes rather slow. It took me a good 8 hours of play to get through a single ingame year. Since you start at age 30, that means it's gonna be a good long while before your first character dies of old age. As far as dying in battle I've lost a LOT and it hasn't happened yet. My char died of sickness at age 50. But in my game I have seem natural causes happening to NPCs before 50. 1. Nerwesta. OP • 3 yr. ago. Yeah I've read some topics on their forum, some users pointed that the earliest NPCs can die by natural causes is around 45, seems very rare but it does. 4. Nerwesta. OP • 3 yr. ago. Would add a lot if you could play on as one of your princes trying to reconquer the empire. Or maybe split the clan into two. I haven't directly experienced, but I believe the game counts the clan as owning holdings. So when you die, what you own should go to your heir as the new head of the clan. Yeah, same. He killed my parents but saved my brothers and sister. If I ever crossed paths with him again or heard he went back to banditry, I’d kill him. That was my RP thoughts. PurpleFiat. • 2 yr. ago. The people not killing him are losers. Dean429. • 2 yr. ago. you need to be a vassal already, have lots of influence and good relations, and then when the king dies you have a chance. Might need to enable permadeath though, I don't know if other lords & Kings die without it enabled unless you execute them. Nice way to waste a silver award, random kind stranger :) 16. Alessandrael. I've got a few ideas. 1. Maybe once they lose all lands and are the only clan left, they can then be recruited by another kingdom and once that happens their kingdom dissolves. 2. Maybe after some time period (2 - 4 seasons) of being a solo clan with no lands, they become mercenaries. 3. Also if you are looking at the battle synopsis you can see a red 1 in the kill column for the dead lord. Finally when the battle is completed, you will see the name of the slain lord appear under the amount of renown, that you receive at the end of the battle. This does not apply to the player. You don’t get any of the armor or weapons back, at least as of 1.5.10. Just had one of my companions die of old age while they were wearing some expensive armor, and I got none of it back. Getdunkled. • 2 yr. ago. 1.6 it’s the same, companion died at 57 and lost a set of top tier armor. When you sign your contract as a mercenary they offer you a Denar value per influence. I’ve seen 110-240 for non-vlandian heritage and up to 314 for vlandian heritage. So if you receive 16 influence at say 200 denars per influence you will receive a total payout of 3200 over 2-5 days of influence burn.
