It doesn't show up for other goods such as horses and armor but those also vary from town to town. Might need to set up a spreadsheet if you were really into it. Yeah, you really don't need to worry about it once you can start automating things. But it does help a lot getting off the ground!
Your starting gear is good enough for money-printing purposes. No need to go overboard by spending 1000 denars on a piece of armour that will be “obsolete” rather quickly. All of your early investment should be directed at a single thing – making more money fast.
One way of doing influence gains is raiding enemy villages and such, if you wish to fight militias and such. If you raid the village it will burn them up, so many force them to give up loot works better. Your relations with people takes a nosedive though since you are targeting commoners. #1.

Culture is gonna be the one to increase loyalty from a governor. Once you have the right culture then you can look at stats. Go for higher steward level to save money. But even if you can’t find that, your governor will level up in steward passively and quite quickly. 4.
